in 2008, I showed Arcade Fire to some people I know, all of them were like: “Ew, not my style and blah blah blah!”
it’s 2012 now, everyone single one of them is such a hardcore Arcade Fire fan since they have won a Grammy last year and everyone is like: “OMG THEY ROCK, WIN IS SEXY AND REGINE IS CUTE AND ‘THE SUBURBS’ IS THE BEST ALBUM!!” (don’t get me wrong, it is an amazing album) and their favourite songs are “The Suburbs” and “Ready To Start” and I’m just sitting there and facepalming inside my head…..
